Ramada by Wyndham - They refused to return funds
I called corporate and they did not return funds for my room. They called me back but I'm a very busy person.
There wasn't any direct line to any corporate person to handle this matter.
I even called the local authorities and they said they will start a case. Nothing was resolved either way I'm posting it on my social platforms not to stay at all there locations worldwide and because I know over 70,000 people this will be a chain link to over a million people in just a couple of days.
I didn't have my phone for 2 days and someone ordered a room with my card on my account with Expedia I called all 3 companies involved and I didn't get my full refund on a room I didn't order. Among other things I'm 1,281 miles away from this hotel 4 states over and the manager said I failed to check in so I'm getting charged for the room anyway.
When I called the location she was rude in her demeanor and she told Expedia to charge me for the first day anyways. Like I was saying I called she said I have no power in this transaction because it was purchased through a 3rd party affiliation (Expedia) I looked at the reservations and there was a $4.00 insurance for this room just for matters like this.
Ultimately I just want to be returned the money that is owed to me. I have struggled for the last 8 days because I'm a single parent and I'm a strict budget kinda person.
User's recommendation: I'll never stay at this hotel even if it's the last one available.
Monetary Loss: $89.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
